I've got a problem and I know it's probably just me but I want to see if anyone out there is the same as me in this aspect. I've finished the tutorial missions and for the Sisters of Eve arc, I want to fly an Amarr cruiser so I started training for it. I know I can start the missions using my Punisher frig, but since I want a Maller or Omen for those missions, I find myself wanting to wait to get the cruiser, fit it, and train the necesary skills to fly it decently for the story line.
Anyways,it's been 3 days since I've played because all I'm doing is waiting on skills. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what do you do?

Thank you for the advice. I'm determined to get my Cruiser (Omen or Maller, which is better for mission running?) before starting the Sisters of Eve arc, which will be tomorrow. Once I get that I will just start training the recommended skills whilst I am mission running. Since I haven't been doing much in Eve I was just curious who else was like me and decided to ask.

Thank you everyone so much for the replies. You've all given me so much to think about. I'm able to get my Cruiser today. My next goal is to finish all the recommended certificates before I even think about getting into bigger ships so that should keep me busy for awhile.

I got my Omen, loving it so far. I love being able to hit stuff 30km out, a change from having to be just under 5km. I'm about 10hours from finishing up the Core Competency certificate. After that I'm going to continue with the reccomended certificates for the Omen before I think about training up for more ships.
Also, I googled beginner fit for an Omen and followed it. So far so good. I was able to get through about Half the SoE arc so easily it was crazy. I feel so powerful! Anyways,One thing I was doing was getting used to the different ammo and seeing how big a difference in range and damage it makes, pretty crazy.
having a great time though.

Again thank you for all the Advice. I haven't been part of a good gaming community since way back in the EQ days. I've almost forgotten what "Helping a Noob out" felt like. The forums combined with the rookie channel are enough to keep any gamer that is tired of immature idiots from other games *cough WoW.
But, seriously, thank you.
